GPS coordinates: Latitude 28°43'41.55"N Longitude 13°51'19.91"W

Bathed by warm turquoise waters, bordered by the drifting white sand dunes of the Corralejo Nature Reserve and calmly surveying the protected islet of Lobos rising up from the waters in the distance, Gran Hotel Atlantis Bahía Real enjoys a truly enviable location.

There is a sheltered beach lying directly in front of the hotel. Alternatively, the beautiful uninterrupted sand dunes and beaches of the Corralejo Nature Reserve that lie southwards are a beach lover’s paradise. This long coastline provides a succession of unspoilt beaches where visitors can appreciate relaxing days in the sun, far removed from the hustle and bustle of the Canary Islands’ more developed resorts. Many of the beaches on this lovely long coastline are also popular with windsurfers, surfers and kite-boarders while the more secluded stretches are a favourite with naturists.

Plenty of restaurants, bars, shops and sports or excursion organisers are available in Corralejo, while the pleasant harbour area in the old fishing part of the town boasts numerous outdoor cafés and excellent fish restaurants.

Ferry services and boats to the neighbouring islands of Lanzarote and Lobos depart regularly from the harbour, providing day trips to the major attractions in Lanzarote’s breathtaking volcanic landscape or nature treks around the 5 sq. km. Nature Reserve of the islet of Lobos. There are also excursions in glass-bottomed boats around the shores of this island so that visitors can witness for themselves the beauty of the rich underwater life of this marine reserve.

Children will love the water slides of the nearby Baku water park and golfers will be happy to learn that the 9-hole course at Corralejo Golf lies on the outskirts of the town.
